The USAW Southeast Regional Championships will be held on May 22-24, 2020 in Wilmington, NC.

USA Wrestling does not charge for adjusting weight classes, even at weigh-ins, so sign up early to guarantee your spot in the event.

This event will include Kids, 16U, and Junior Divisions. There will also be PeeWee and Girls Festivals.

USA Wrestling’s regional events are contested in Freestyle and Greco-Roman, the only two styles of wrestling at the Olympic level. Freestyle wrestling is exciting, creative, and dynamic because points can be scored from almost anywhere. The most recent Olympic wrestling gold medals were won by freestyle wrestlers, Kyle Snyder and Helen Maroulis in 2016 and Jordan Burroughs and Jake Varner in 2012. Greco-Roman wrestling is known for powerful lifts and big throws, as all attacks must be made above the waist. Current USA Wrestling Chief of Donor and Alumni Relations Steve Fraser was a gold medalist in 1984, and Rulon Gardner won gold in 2000.
